As you've undoubtedly noticed by now, the City of Mill Creek has begun work on the new roof and play structure at Heron Park. At the time of this post, the roof has been completed and it looks great! We are excited to see the new play structure come to life in the next couple of months.

Reposting from Nextdoor: Someone is going around spray painting graffiti on our trails. Keep your eyes open for suspicious people in our Parkside trails and neighborhood.

The following email was sent from the Mill Creek Community Association: The MCCA Office has received numerous reports of a suspicious vehicle parking overnight on the roads within MCCA. This started in the Aspen and Juniper divisions and has since moved to our other divisions including Evergreen and Vine Maple. The description of the vehicle is (picture attached): - Light Brown Toyota RV - California Plates 1LR1372 MCCA does not own the roads and as such we do not have any rules and regulations for street parking. I have contacted the Mill Creek Police Department to inquire what we can do, and here is how you can help: 1. If you see this vehicle, or any suspicious vehicle parking in your neighborhood, get a description, including the license plate number, and report it to the Mill Creek Police Department using the non-emergency number (425-407-3999). 2. When you report the vehicle, say that you have noticed a "suspicious vehicle" parked in your neighborhood, and would like an officer to check on it. 3. Ask that the officer follow-up with you by phone and leave a number where you can be reached. This ensures that the officer will not knock on your door after talking with the RV owner and that owner cannot determine who made the request for the vehicle check. 4. Keep reporting the vehicle every time you see it parked in your neighborhood. Eventually the vehicle occupants will get the idea that our community is vigilant, they will grow tired of the police knocking on their window, and they will pick another spot. Security has been notified about this vehicle and is also on the lookout. Please let me know if you have any questions. I appreciate everything our residents do to keep our community safe.
